By road
Hotel Noir benefits from its own free private car park, making it ideal accommodation for anyone on a driving holiday, or for those who like a secure spot to leave their transport while exploring York on foot or by taxi. Car parking is usually available on a first come, first served basis.

Travelling from the north
Hotel Noir is found at Clifton Green, York. From the A1M, leave at junction 47 on the A59 to York. Follow the A59 until you reach a roundabout, then take the first exit onto the A1237, signposted Thirsk. Continue across the next roundabout on the A1237. When you arrive at the next roundabout, take the third exit onto the A19 (Shipton Road). After a mile and a half, turn right into Clifton Green. Look for the large, white Victorian hotel, and you’ll know you’ve made the right stop for excellent accommodation and a peaceful sleep.

Travelling from the south
Hotel Noir is found at Clifton Green, York. From the A1M, leave at junction 45, following the A64 to York. Cross the roundabout onto the A1237. Stay on the A1237 until you reach the next roundabout, then take the third exit onto the A19 (Shipton Road). After a mile and a half, turn right into Clifton Green. Look for the large, white Victorian hotel, and you’ll know you’ve made the right stop for excellent accommodation and a peaceful sleep.

By rail
If you choose to explore York without a car, Hotel Noir is ideally placed for train travellers. Just over one mile away from York railway mainline station, Hotel Noir is within easy walking distance or a short ride away. For York’s international visitors, Hotel Noir is conveniently placed for access to several airports. Leeds Bradford International Airport is 25 miles away, Robin Hood Airport just 40 miles and Durham Tees Valley Airport is within an hour's drive of York. Car rental is readily available.
